Urban
Artware
LAST
GALLERY HOP EVER...
Urban Artware presents
Peter
Spivak: Retrospective
Peter
Spivak is an artist who was born and raised in Alabama. After traveling
extensively and exhibiting in galleries around the country, Peter heard
about a gallery called Urban Artware in Winston-Salem, NC.
The first time he called the gallery he spoke with the proprietor,
Millicent Greason, for almost an hour and felt an immediate connection.
After sending slides, Millicent offered to show his work and they
scheduled a retrospective exhibition in 2000.
After
meeting, Peter and Millicent soon fell in love and eight years later
they were married. To celebrate eleven years of being a part of
Millicent's life and the gallery, Peter will be having another
retrospective exhibition for the final gallery hop January 6, 2012. The
evening of the show will be the last time the gallery will be open and
Millicent and Peter will begin a new chapter in their lives. The
exhibition will include paintings and mixed media works from the past
twenty years. We hope you can join us.
YOU WILL SEE THINGS YOU HAVE ONLY READ ABOUT IN BOOKS!
