Join us in the Downtown Art District the first Friday of every month- Rain or clear Moonlight!- for the DADA First Friday Gallery Hop with shops, studios, and galleries open extended hours. From 7:00-10PM find Artist Receptions, artist demonstrations, live music, dancing, entertainment and more! Streets are closed with parking available in surrounding parking lots. Got a camera and a smile? Love touring attractions in Forsyth County? You can win!
Find some FUN in Forsyth County at any of thirteen participating local attractions. Take pictures of you having FUN while visiting them. Post your photos on each attraction's Facebook page wall. Each site posted on will earn you an entry to win one of thirteen prize packs and the Grand Prize - an iPad2 Tablet!
Each attraction will pick a winner from among photos posted at their Facebook page during the contest period - the photo that best shows FUN at their attraction. The iPad winner will be randomly selected from names of all official entrants posting at any of the participating attractions - the more sites at which you post, the more chances you have to win the iPad. DADA is always looking for ways to promote the Art District artists, galleries, shops, businesses, restaurants, entertainment (my how we’ve grown!) and the first Friday Gallery Hops are a regular event with unique feataures each month.
There are expenses we take on every year to make the Hops safe, fun and educational. We pay these expenses through our memberships and donations from the community individuals and businesses.
