Fiber Company

Fiber Company is a partnership with members Carolyn Glazener, B. Jane Doub, Kay Tuttle, Dee Conner, Olivia Camden Mackie and Kathryn Gauldin. A working weaving studio, Fiber Company artists create hand-woven clothing and accessories and carry local artist works on consignment from jewelers, potters, woodworkers, and photographers.

First Friday Gallery Hops, special events and by appointment. Special fall and extended holiday hours.

Piedmont Craftsmen, Inc.

Since 1963, Winston-Salem, North Carolina has been home to Piedmont Craftsmen, Inc., a guild founded by craft artists and collectors to honor the work of its members.  Piedmont Craftsmen, Inc., a non-profit 501(c)(3) education and arts organization, is dedicated to the promotion of fine traditional and contemporary craft/art through a wide variety of educational and membership activities and services for the benefit of the community. 

Piedmont Craftsmen represents nearly four hundred of the Southeast's most talented artisans. Visit our Shop and Gallery where you'll find the finest, most unique hand crafted gifts for all seasons, occasions, styles, and budgets. Piedmont Craftsmen is open late for the Gallery Hops on the first Friday of every month.

The Other Half

THE OTHER HALF gallery is located in the "Heart of the Arts District". 

Ron and Tamara Propst opened the gallery to exhibit not only Ron's pottery, but also, fine crafts in wood, glass, clay and metal, mixed media, paintings and well designed commercial works. 

Exhibitions of featured artist are scheduled throughout the year.  The gallery offers the following sevices: special orders and commissions, gift certificates, gift boxing and shipping.

Karma Salon and Gallery

Karma is a full service hair salon with a gallery to include fine art of all kinds and will feature a new artist each month. Karma offers unique gifts and cards.

Camel City Frame Gallery

Camel City Frame Gallery is located in the AOL Building on N. Liberty St, in the downtown arts district.  We are a full service owner-operated shop employing the latest in archival and conservation framing, when required, with hundreds of wood and metal moulding samples to choose from. We offer one day service when necessary.  Our everyday pricing is very competitive with all frame shops in town. We are a member of the Professional Picture Framers Association and strive for quality work. Our gallery offers signed and numbered already framed prints as well as the original work of three North Carolina artists.

Delurk Gallery's inaugural exhibit Presenting Delurk  features local artists Woodie Anderson, Chad Beroth, Shanthony Exum, Patrick Harris, Jennifer O’Kelly, Cindy Taplin, Dane Walters

Delurk will also host a new downtown satellite studio for Art-O-Mat. Stop by to learn more about how this international art project encourages art consumption by combining the worlds of art and commerce in an innovative form. Inter_Section Gallery and Art Space is one of Winston Salem's only art galleries that offers visitors the chance to explore a variety and wide spectrum of art encompassing design, performance, multi media installations and music. Owner and artist Kate Magruder Lambeth designed Inter_Section to be a place where all aspects of art could "intersect". Inter_Section has hosted the coveted Maitreya Project Relic Tour, local, regional and international artists and performers since opening its doors in 2011. Inter_Section Gallery and Art Space continues to be the place where art and inspiration meet

Associated Artists

Associated Artists of Winston-Salem supports and celebrates the visual artist, from the aspiring to the professional. Established in 1956, AAWS is the largest membership organization for visual artists in the Piedmont Triad. From themed group exhibitions in its main gallery to solo or two-person community exhibits at businesses and non-profit organizations throughout the greater Winston-Salem area, hands-on workshops to volunteer opportunities, members are encouraged to develop as professionals in their chosen media.Open till 9 pm on first Fridays
