VOLUNTEERS

Be a Volunteer!

DADA has ongoing projects throughout the year and would love to have community help!
DADA is seeking volunteers to help with exhibits in the DADA Center, help promote our projects in the community, work within other community organizations with DADA’s mission and many other activities.

DADA Volunteers help with our mural projects- new ones are always coming up! Visit the "Tree at Last" Mural on Liberty Street- in the 500 block. Thanks to all of the "Handprint Artists" from Summer on Trade 2009 and a special thanks to Marianne DiNapoli-Mylet for all of her creative energy and hard work getting the project together and up on the wall!

DADA Volunteers helped with the 2009 Brick Campaign- "Word on the Street" by helping to distribute information andparticipated in the Brick Party. At the Party, DADA artists and Volunteers created small decorative "bricks" of earthen clay. The decorative bricks were fired, stained and are given as tokens of appreciation to those donating to support our Brick Project and donations for other projects.

DADA Volunteers helped with the "Peace Tapestry", a project that used donated fabrics, threads, yarns and more to help construct a quilted tapestry, with a garden theme, to be sent around the Globe, helping to promote World Peace. Thanks to everyone that participated!

DADA Volunteers help with our Arts in Education project, funded by the Winston-Salem Arts Council. Thanks to everyone who helps to educate and promote the Arts!

DADA Volunteers include Art Clubs, School Students, Musicians and more that contribute to the Gallery Hops, Summer on Trade, and exhibits in the DADA Center.
